NetWrix Corp offers multiple tools--available separately--for the management of user accounts and passwords. Among their current offerings:

- Account Lockout Examiner can track account lockouts in real time. Should an account lockout happen, Account Lockout Examiner will notify the personnel in charge.

- Account Lockout Examiner for PowerShell is a set of Windows PowerShell cmdlets that lets administrators automate the detection and resolution of account lockouts. Administrators can identify account lockouts, examine the most likely causes for account lockouts, and unlock accounts directly from scripts developed using the product.

- Active Directory Change Reporter is a tool that reports the changes made to Active Directory and delivers a summary and detailed information on a daily basis. The report includes the Who, What, When, and Where of changes (including user and admin activity) and includes "before" and "after" values for each setting. This report lists changes made to AD and Exchange configurations, mailboxes, AD schema, and more. Archiving capabilities are also included. Both commercial and free versions are available.

- With Password Manager for Roaming Users, users can resolve password issues on their local computers without any help from the system administrator or the IT helpdesk.

- NetWrix Password Manager is a tool that allows users to reset forgotten passwords, troubleshoot account lockouts and unlock their accounts manually, through a Web-based, self-service portal and integration with the standard Windows logon procedure.

- Privileged Account Manager (PAM) maintains and protects privileged shared accounts of all types, from Active Directory and servers to routers and database systems. The product provides a centralized facility for provisioning, accessing, automatic updating, auditing, and de-provisioning of shared administrative accounts.

- User Provisioning Manager addresses the life-cycle management of user identities--provisioning, maintenance and retirement.

- Bulk Password Reset is a tool that changes multiple local account passwords in bulk and across multiple computers with a few clicks of the mouse. You can specify an entire domain, select a specific subset of computers, or tell the tool to use a computer list from a text file.

- Change Reporter for VMware Infrastructure 3 audits all changes and enforces controlled change management processes across your virtual environment. This tool sends a daily report pointing to every change made to your ESX servers, folders, clusters, resource pools, virtual machines, and their hardware, including previous and current ("before" and "after") configuration values. Both commercial and free versions are available.

- Inactive Users Tracker automates the management of inactive user accounts. The program periodically checks all user accounts in specified domains and reports to you all accounts inactive for more than a specified number of days. It can also (in the commercial version) automatically disable inactive accounts. Both commercial and free versions are available.

- Password Expiration Notifier periodically checks users in the specified Active Directory domain and sends report to the administrator's E-mail when one or more passwords are about to expire. Only those users whose passwords will be expiring in a specified number of days will be reported. The tool can also notify users whose passwords will expire soon by sending notification E-mails to account owners.

- USB Blocker enforces centralized access control to prevent unauthorized use of removable media that connects to computer USB ports; for example, memory sticks, removable hard disks, iPods, and more. It requires no deployment on client computers and relies only on built-in Group Policy mechanisms. Both freeware and commercial versions are available.

- NetWrix Group Policy Change Reporter sends daily reports detailing changes made to Group Policy configuration. The reports list newly created and deleted GPOs, GPO link changes, changes made to audit policy, password policy, software deployment, user desktops, and all other settings. The data includes Who, What and When information for all changes with previous and current values for all modified settings (commercial version only).
